At Revlitix, we continue to enhance our platform to support your evolving needs. This October, we’re excited to introduce a range of new features and improvements, each designed to offer greater flexibility, efficiency, and security. Below is a detailed breakdown of each feature, complete with use cases to help your team make the most of these updates.
What’s New?
Folders for Reports
This allows users to categorize and store reports in designated folders. You can organize reports by type, project, client, or any other criteria, making them easier to locate and manage over time.
This functionality is available both during the report creation process and afterward.
Use Case: For a team handling multiple projects, each with specific KPIs and reports, folders can help keep these organized by project. This structure allows quick access to the right reports when needed, ensuring seamless report retrieval.
Custom Dimension Forecasting
Custom Dimension Forecasting brings more versatility to forecasting capabilities. This feature allows you to forecast metrics for single or multiple channels and objects, offering precise forecasting across simple and complex scenarios alike.
It supports various configurations, making it adaptable to a range of forecasting needs.
Use Case: A sales team analyzing multiple sales channels can use Custom Dimension Forecasting to forecast metrics for email campaigns individually or in conjunction with other channels like social media and web. This flexibility ensures that forecasts align with team strategies and performance goals.
Search Bar for Templates
The new search bar in the Reports section helps users locate any template with a quick search. By typing the template name, you can instantly access the desired template, reducing the time spent scrolling and increasing productivity.
Use Case: For teams using multiple templates, this search function simplifies locating the right template quickly, especially during time-sensitive reporting. It saves users the hassle of manually navigating through extensive template lists.
LinkedIn Creative Image in Tabular Charts
Revlitix now supports LinkedIn Creative URLs and images in tabular charts, providing users with a structured view of their LinkedIn creatives. This feature enhances data clarity by displaying the creative visuals alongside performance metrics.
Use Case: Teams running LinkedIn ad campaigns can now see ad visuals within tabular charts, making it easier to assess creative effectiveness alongside metrics like clicks and conversions. This setup is valuable for marketing teams focused on performance analytics.
Settings - Notification Tab Update
Description: The Notifications tab now includes two sections: Groups and Schedule Reports.
- Groups: Lists all notifications created by users, organized for easy access and management.
- Schedule Reports: Displays a list of all reports scheduled by the user, allowing efficient tracking of report timings and frequency.
Use Case: For teams that rely on alerts and scheduled reports, these two new sections centralize notifications, making it easier to manage updates and stay on top of scheduled insights.
Funnel Visualization in Funnel Overview Chart
Description: This enhancement allows users to toggle between chart and table views in the funnel overview, with the option for date aggregation.
It offers a flexible view of the funnel’s performance across various time frames, helping users visualize and analyze customer journeys more effectively.
Use Case: A sales manager can leverage this feature to analyze conversions at each funnel stage over specific dates, gaining insights into potential bottlenecks and understanding what actions drive conversions over time.
Exclude Weekends Option in Edit Config
Users now have the option to exclude weekends from charts. This customization is especially beneficial for industries where weekend data may be irrelevant, resulting in more streamlined and accurate visualizations.
Use Case: In industries like B2B sales, where activity drops over weekends, excluding weekends from data visualizations makes insights more representative of active business days, improving data accuracy.
New Object - Marketo Activity
Marketo users can now access Activity Field Mapping as a new object in their integration. This feature captures essential activity data from Marketo, directly integrating it within Revlitix to provide a holistic view of marketing and engagement metrics.
Use Case: Marketing teams using Marketo for engagement tracking can now access key activity data in Revlitix. For instance, a team can track email engagement data from Marketo alongside sales metrics, enabling a unified view of campaign impact on sales.
Login Page Revamp
Our redesigned login page now supports multiple login options, including Google SSO, OTP, and password-based login, enhancing both user convenience and platform security.
Use Case: With varying preferences for login methods, teams can now choose the access option that best fits their workflow, ensuring quick and secure access to Revlitix without compromising on security standards.
Security Tab in Notifications
A new Security tab has been introduced for admins in the Notifications module. It provides:
- Login Method Management: Admins can set specific login options for users.
- Session Management: Allows admins to monitor active sessions.
- Force Logout: Admins can enforce logout sessions to maintain security across users.
Use Case: For organizations prioritizing data security, this tab allows admins to tailor login options and monitor user sessions, ensuring platform security and enforcing policies as necessary.
Data Refresh Intervals
A Data Refresh option is now available for non-CRM channels, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Company Page, LinkedIn Ads, and YouTube.
This ensures real-time data synchronization for these platforms, maintaining up-to-date insights without waiting for scheduled syncs.
Use Case: A marketing team running cross-channel campaigns can now refresh data from platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads, accessing real-time insights to adjust campaigns immediately based on performance.
Improvements
Duplicate Reports
Users can now duplicate entire reports, simplifying the process of creating reports with similar structures and configurations. This feature is ideal for quickly setting up recurring or template-based reports.
Use Case: For routine weekly reports, duplicating a report saves time, allowing users to create new reports with identical structures in seconds.
Custom Metrics and Funnel Stages – Duration Data Type
We’ve added Duration as a new data type, allowing users to display time-based metrics in seconds or HH:MM:SS format. This feature is especially useful for tracking metrics like lead response time or deal closing durations.
Use Case: A sales team tracking the time taken for lead response or deal closure can now use the Duration data type to view these metrics in a time-based format, offering clear, time-sensitive insights.
KPI Data Type Preview for Salesforce & HubSpot
Enhanced KPI reporting for Salesforce and HubSpot with support for multiple data types, including Integer, Float, String, Boolean, Date, and Duration. This update enables a more precise and tailored KPI tracking experience.
Use Case: For data-intensive teams using Salesforce or HubSpot, this update supports a broader range of KPI types, enabling richer insights and facilitating more complex performance tracking.
Goal Tracking Chart for Scheduled Reports
The Goal Tracking Chart is now enabled for scheduled reports, offering a visual benchmark for users to track goals directly within scheduled insights. This feature was introduced based on user feedback, including a request from Azuga.
Use Case: Teams scheduling performance reports can now include visual goal tracking, making it easy to monitor progress toward specific goals without needing to consult additional reports.
Date Range Options in Sales Analytics Insights
A new “Last 30 Days” option is now available in Sales Analytics, allowing users to quickly view data for the most recent month. This update provides a convenient option for teams focused on monthly trends and reviews.
Use Case: Teams conducting monthly performance reviews can select the “Last 30 Days” date range, quickly generating insights for current month-over-month comparisons.
Save Sorting Preferences for Tabular Reports
Sorting preferences for column values are now saved in tabular reports, meaning your preferred order is retained even after you navigate away. This improvement saves time for users who regularly analyze data in a specific order.
Use Case: For data analysts who require consistent views, saved sorting preferences reduce the need to re-sort columns, ensuring a smoother reporting experience.
Date Format Options in Report Edit Config
Customizable date format options have been added to the Report Edit Config, applicable to line, bar, and comparison charts. This update allows users to tailor date formats to their audience’s preference or regional standards.
Use Case: For teams reporting to international clients, customizing date formats helps meet audience expectations, presenting data in a style that resonates with each client’s preferences.
